The DynaPix picture engine is a highly effective processor that has evolved several generations since

it was first introduced in 2003.
The development objective of this unique picture-processor engine was simple
enhance picture-quality parameters to best suit specific device or panel characteristics and thus ensure rich, lifelike images.
What originally began as basic enhancement of resolution and scaling has evolved into the design of effective noise reduction
systems and intelligent picture controls that help to improve colour saturation,
contrast and contours. For the latest 2007 models,
three distinctive DynaPix picture engines have been designed to answer the specific requirements of different LCD models.

The DynaPix Plus picture engine also features a scaler and formatter as its core components and is further
enhanced by supporting functions that improve control of colours and contrast beyond the scope of the standard DynaPix engine
